An ore dryer is an industrial device used in mineral mining to dry mineral ores before further processing. This equipment reduces the moisture content in the ore, thereby increasing processing efficiency and minimizing risks such as clumping or sludge formation during transportation and storage.

Ore dryers typically use a stream of hot air to evaporate water from the ore and can operate continuously to accommodate the large volumes of material that need to be processed.

1. Problem: Low Regreasing Interval and Melting Grease

A low regreasing interval means that the lubricant must be reapplied frequently, which can increase maintenance costs and time. Meanwhile, melting grease can cause the lubricant to not last long on the lubricated components, reducing lubrication effectiveness and potentially leading to wear and damage to the equipment.

Solution: LE 9011

This is a synthetic lubricant designed to provide exceptional protection in high-load and severe-shock applications, such as open gears used in the mining, mineral processing, and cement industries.

LE 9011 lubricant does not melt easily and has a longer regreasing interval.

It is an asphalt-free and environmentally friendly specialty lubricant that does not contain heavy metals. It is equipped with a synergistic blend of Almasol additives, LE Lubricants’ exclusive wear-reducing additive, and a unique combination of extreme pressure additives.

2. Problem: Riding Ring Wear Pad

An essential component used in various industrial machines, particularly in rotating equipment such as kilns and rotary dryers. This wear pad acts as a cushion between the riding ring and the surface it contacts. It is designed to withstand heavy loads and friction during operation, thereby helping to reduce wear on the riding ring and extend the equipment’s service life.

These provide protection for five wear zones. This graphite spray lubricant effectively protects areas such as the inside of tires, stop blocks, wear pads, leaf seals, and thrust buttons.

When used together, they work synergistically to protect equipment from wear, damage, and high repair costs. This graphite spray lubricant can be applied with precision like paint and evaporates without leaving sticky residues, making it safe to use on very hot surfaces due to its high flash point.

The Easy Bar spray lubricant can be applied using a portable or fixed applicator, and the high solid lubricant content in this product fills surface imperfections, resulting in a smoother surface, reducing friction, and decreasing wear.

By improving lubrication between the filler bar and the riding ring, this lubricant helps reduce weld cracks at the filler bar and kiln shell interface, ultimately extending the equipment’s lifespan.
