The solution to scale problems involves two main approaches:
1. Scale inhibitors to prevent the formation of scale.
2. Scale removers to eliminate already-formed scale.

Generally, acid solutions are used to remove scale. However, the problem with using acid solutions is that they can cause corrosion. One problem gets solved, but a new one arises.

Success Story 

Currently, the non-corrosive scale removal product, named EonScale SR 5300, has been applied in several locations. One notable case involved using this product to address scale blockage in a 165-meter-long pipe at an oil & gas company.

After soaking the pipe with EonScale SR 5300 for 6 hours, the scale dissolved, and the pipe’s diameter returned to its original state without causing any corrosion to the equipment. 

The process is quite simple, utilizing a batching method according to the volume of the pipe to be treated. Gradually, EonScale SR 5300 softens the formed scale until it completely dissolves, while the pipe remains protected from corrosion issues.
