The Journey of EON Chemicals
Since its establishment more than 35 years ago, we have been committed to providing innovative solutions that support the advancement of various industrial sectors in our homeland. Throughout its journey, Eonchemicals has experienced significant growth, both in terms of business and distribution network.
We have successfully expanded our reach to every corner of Indonesia, ensuring that every customer, from Sabang to Merauke, can enjoy the best products and services from us. Our success is attributed to the dedication of a solid team and the company’s vision that always prioritizes customer satisfaction.
1987
Eonchemicals was founded and began operations with a commitment to providing the best services and products in its field.
1997
Ten years later, the Eonchemicals factory in the Jababeka Industrial Estate was officially established.
2001
We collaborated with Master Chemical Corporation for the distribution of Metalworking Fluid products.
2007
Eonchemicals achieved ISO 9001, ISO/OHSAS 18001 (replaced by ISO 45001 in 2019), and ISO 14001 certifications, affirming the company’s commitment to international standards in quality management, health, and safety.
2009
Expansion of the sales network by increasing the opening of branch offices in various regions in Indonesia.
2012
In this year, Eonchemicals expanded its factory to support our rapidly growing business.
2015
Seeing a significant opportunity in the lubricant market in Indonesia, we collaborated with Dow Chemical (now part of DuPont) and successfully obtained a license as the official distributor of Molykote in Indonesia.
2019
We expanded our business focus to various other industries, including food and beverage, palm oil, maritime, steel, and piping.
2021
Entering 2021, we achieved several milestones, including:
- Certification from NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), for Eonchemicals products applied in the food & beverage industry, meeting safety, health, and safety standards.
- PROPERDA DLH Jabar – Blue Rating. This means EON has made environmental management efforts in accordance with applicable regulations.
2022
This year, Eonchemicals achieved several important milestones, such as:
- Appointment as an Authorized Reseller of Dow Silicon Material.
- Halal certification for Cleaning Chemical products from BPJPH under the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Appreciation from SKK Migas in the Joint Assessment and Guidance of Domestic Goods/Services Providers Supporting Upstream Oil and Gas Activities Phase II/2022.
2023
- Besides being an authorized distributor of DuPont, we also became an authorized distributor of BESTOLIFE and Lubrication Engineers.
- Our fire foam products passed the feasibility test from UL (Underwriter Laboratories) 162, recognized for their quality and safety.
- PROPERNAS – Blue Rating, meaning we have implemented pollution and/or environmental damage control measures and complied with environmental management regulations.
- Obtained the SMK3 certificate from the Ministry of Manpower, meaning EON’s management system can control all risks during the production or operational process in the workplace.
