The Indonesian Mining Safety Professional Association (APKPI) successfully organized the APKPI 2024 Seminar and National Conference III. The event took place over two days, on June 28-29, at the IPB International Convention Center, Botani Square, Bogor.
Eonchemicals, along with several other participants and hundreds of attendees, took part in the event. We contributed by supporting and providing innovative solutions, particularly for customers from the mining industry, to achieve the objectives of this Seminar and National Conference.

The event, themed “Mining Safety Management Strategies Towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” was opened by Mr. Alwahono, the APKPI Director for the 2020-2024 period. This was followed by a speech from the Director-General of Mineral and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
“This forum is a platform for exchanging information. The projections for 2030 are filled with challenges but also opportunities. Mining plays a crucial role in achieving these global goals, and through mining safety, it becomes a shared responsibility. We encourage proactive actions towards the SDGs and their implementation with a shared commitment,” said Mr. Bambang Suswantono in his speech.
Following this, the event continued with the National Mining Safety Seminar. The second day featured the National Conference III and concluded with an appreciation night. We extend our congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Joko Triraharjo on his election as the APKPI Director for the 2024-2028 period.
The topics discussed by several speakers during the seminar covered three industry sectors:
- Mining Safety Management Strategies Based on Sustainable Development in the Mineral Mining Sector
- Mining Safety Management Strategies Based on Sustainable Development in the Coal Mining Sector
- Mining Safety Management Strategies Based on Sustainable Development in the Mining Services Sector
It is hoped that through this event, participants can manage sustainable mining safety. This is crucial for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ensuring that mining practices are conducted safely, healthily, sustainably, and with social responsibility.
Therefore, let us all work together to achieve this noble goal!
