In line with the spirit of Heroes’ Day, the Indonesian Heavy Equipment Experts Association (PERTAABI) held a Seminar & Business Talk Show on November 10, 2022, in Balikpapan.
“November 10 is Heroes’ Day, a historical milestone in our nation’s struggle. Many PERTAABI expert colleagues reside and work in Balikpapan companies, and the majority of heavy equipment users are in Balikpapan. Therefore, we feel it is very fitting to hold this first event in Balikpapan,” said Tommy Nugrahanto, Secretary General of PERTAABI.
In addition to being attended by hundreds of participants, the event was graced by the presence of Balikpapan Mayor Rahmad Mas’ud and several competent speakers in their respective fields, including Eonchemicals Putra CEO, David Waworuntu.

With the theme “Strategies to Anticipate Competition in Meeting Global Energy Needs in the Mining Sector to Achieve Business Sustainability through Efficiency and Effectiveness in Production Processes,” the event is expected to explore and develop the potential of available resources and bring benefits to all stakeholders and business players in the mining sector for the advancement of Indonesia.
